ABIS Consulting Group announces a new software solution aimed at automating production trim lines in metal building and component manufacturers. The software is called Trim Genius and is integrated with the suite of Adjutant enterprise software solutions. The purpose of Trim Genius is to increase efficiency and reduce waste by greatly reducing scrap, setups, and manual shears, saving manufacturers thousands of dollars each month.
Trim Genius’s unique nesting algorithms search all open trim work orders in the near future and create optimized cut lists based upon factors such as gauge, color, girth, and length. The solution is customizable and is tightly integrated with the inventory, warehouse, and shipping modules in Adjutant Software.
Trim Genius is another step in ABIS Consulting Group’s long term commitment to the Metal Building Industry. ABIS has worked with several leading metal building manufacturers to develop Adjutant Software, the only enterprise software solution written for the industry.
ABIS Consulting Group is exhibiting at Metalcon 09 in booth 1138.
